Instructions for locating your MAC address in Macintosh

Macintosh OS 8 and 9
  • Click on the Apple in the upper left-hand corner
  • Go to Control Panels
  • Click on TCP/IP
  • Click on File, then Get info
  • The number next to Hardware Address is the MAC address

Macintosh OS 10
  • Click on the Apple in the upper left hand corner
  • Click on system preferences
  • Double click on Network
  • Next to configure, make sure it says Ethernet
  • In the lower left hand corner, the MAC is next to Ethernet Address
