Small Network and Business DSL Customers

Sometime between Tuesday, August 28th and Saturday, September 1st, BestWeb will make all the necessary changes to your router. Your WAN IP address will be changing, however, all of your network routable IP's will be staying the same.

If you are running a service off of one of your routable IP addresses, then you don't need to do anything. If, however, you are forwarding from your WAN IP, then you will need to email systems@bestweb.net as soon as possible so that proper arrangements can be made. Our systems department will attempt to contact you right before changing your router to confirm that you are ready.

If we cannot gain access to your router (If you changed the password, or purchased it yourself) then it is your responsibility to make all necessary changes. Once these changes are made, you will need to inform our systems department so that they can set up routes to your routable IP addresses. To do this they will need the MAC address of your router. You can either email the MAC address to systems@bestweb.net or go to http://www.bestweb.net/adsl and enter the MAC address into the form.

No changes need to be made to any of your workstations.
